The time has come to admit to myself and my loyal viewers that I don't have the time to update this site as I would have liked.
The blog was a good idea, but this too took up more time than I would have hoped, and the interest isn't what it once was (that faded in December 2005).
So, I've wiped the blog and we'll have a fresh start here because I do want to keep the site going if not at the same level that it once was.
That said, if you want up-to-date news on all things Stagecoach Yorkshire (and Yorkshire Traction) I'd suggest you join the
Yahoo Group
When joining, please state you were referred by this site. It would be nice to know, that's all.
What will this site consist of?
Now, the news is easily convered by a couple of Yahoo Groups and that's the time consuming bit.
My interest of late has been photos, and finding where the buses are (or finding conclusive proof that they are scrapped)
Basically, I want to chase up and down the country looking for ex Tracky monstrosities (well, I've found a Spartan already).
So, that is where this site goes, but a lot deeper than it is now. As the web has developped it's become a lot easier to find that
elusive X22 timetable from the middle of Kidsgrove (that's the route MCW 703 is used on by the way).
By finding where these buses are, hunting down depots and finding PTE timetables it makes it a lot easier when you turn up at said place
in the middle of know-where and find the ex tracky bus, and other independent bus companies in the mass of Stagecoach, Arriva and First fleets.
From this, I should be able to do a well needed refresh of my fotopic site and get better
quality and quantity of images up.
